What is the KISI Process Flow
This article contains the process flow for KISI pre-sales and the task level process document to be followed by all participating team members.
Step 1: Request Submission
- Kisi submits a project request.
- A Velocity Tech Solutions (VTS) Account Executive reviews the request and responds in the Kisi Smartsheet with acceptance.
- The Account Executive updates the Kisi Smartsheet status to “Kisi to Respond.”
- The Account Executive (AE) creates the company and deal in HubSpot.
Step 2: Client Engagement
- Kisi initiates an email chain with the client.
- The VTS AE responds with an introduction, survey details, and a meeting request.
- The AE updates the Kisi Smartsheet status to “Client to Respond.”
- The client reviews the information and responds accordingly.
Step 3: Survey Approval & Handoff to Operations
- If the survey is approved or waived, the AE transfers the request to Operations for scheduling.
- Operations PM validates the information provided by Kisi and gathers details for the local contact.
- The Kisi Smartsheet status is updated to “Survey Scheduling in Progress.” by PM.
Step 4: Survey Scheduling & Execution
- Operations PC schedules the survey.
- The Kisi Smartsheet status is updated to “Survey Scheduled.” by PC
- Operations PC updates the Kisi Smartsheet with the assigned technician’s name, contact information, and the scheduled date and time.
- The client is informed of the survey schedule by the operations PC.
- PC provides progressive updates, including technician check-in and check-out status.
Step 5: Survey Completion & Quotation Process
- Upon survey completion, Operations PM notifies the client via email, confirming that a quote will be generated within five to seven business days.
- The Kisi Smartsheet status is updated to “Install SOW in Progress.” by PM
- Operations PC updates the SOW Smartsheet with the survey documents and estimate for quote generation.
- Sales Engineers review the survey details and begin preparing the quote.
Step 6: Client Communication & Quote Submission
- The AE ensures client satisfaction throughout the quote preparation process.
- The Sales Engineer finalizes and submits the quote to the AE.
- The Kisi Smartsheet status is updated to “Install SOW Sent.” by AE once it is delivered to the client.
- The AE follows up with the client to address any questions and facilitate the next steps.
Step 7: Installation Scheduling & Execution
- If the quote is approved, the AE updates the Kisi Smartsheet status to “Install Scheduling in Progress.”
- Operations PC coordinates and schedules the installation.
- The client is informed of the scheduled installation date and time by PC.
- Operations PC updates the Kisi Smartsheet with the assigned technician’s name, contact information, and installation details.
- The Kisi Smartsheet status is updated to “Install Scheduled.” by PC
- Operations PC provides progressive updates, including technician check-in and check-out status.
Step 8: Installation Completion
- Once the installation is completed, Operations PC updates the Kisi Smartsheet status to “Completed.”
